July 7 - To anyone who reads Lotto Insider on a daily basis, you have no idea
how long I have waited for the perfect, yet relevant, lottery story heading to

Sydney, Australia's luckiest southwest lottery suburbs, one of which is
Liverpool.
Believe it or not, but recent NSW Lotteries statistics have shown that
certain Sydney suburbs yield more instant lottery millionaires and pay out on
more lottery tickets than other suburbs. It begs the question, how come? Who
knows, perhaps more people in certain suburbs buy more lottery tickets than in
others.
What is certain, however, is that if you are an Australian living in Sydney and
are an avid lottery player, then you should get yourself down to the suburbs of
Cabramatta/Canley Vale (postcode 2166). The reason is that in the last 10 years,
lottery players living here have enjoyed a total of $58 million in payouts.
According to NSW Lotteries, the combined winnings of nearby Chester Hill (over a
decade) could create 82 millionaires. The suburbs of Liverpool and nearby
Austral, Horsley Park and Greenfield Park have also proved lucrative, with $52
million in Lotto, Powerball Australia, Jackpot Lottery and Oz Lotto
winnings.
Said NSW Lotteries spokesperson, John Vineburg, 'Struth, if there's a lucky area
in Sydney to buy weekly lottery tickets from it has to be Sydney's southwest
suburbs where loads of big jackpot winners seem to reside, or at least buy their
lotto tickets from.
'Less than three months ago, two of the largest lottery windfalls ever were won
when two tickets - each worth a staggering $24 million - were sold in
Cabramatta and Chester respectively, ' explained Vineburg.
In terms of Sydney's northern suburbs, its North Shore has yielded over $20
million in lottery winnings while the city's southern suburbs can boast seven
lotto jackpot winners since 1996, $52 million in lottery payouts and a $20
million Powerball jackpot winner in July last year.
