The Belgian Lottery is the official national lottery of Belgium,
and it forms part of a number of different number games that are all run
under the auspices of the national organisation. The lottery is drawn
twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and there are four types of
entries you can make. The single form allows you to select 6 boxes on
each of 12 grids; the multiple form allows you to choose 8 to 14
numbers; the multiplus form allows you 7 to 10 numbers per grid and the
lotto mix card where the player chooses certain numbers and a computer
finishes the combinations.
There is also an innovative Multi-Joker feature where you can pick 4
numbers that will act as jokers for you in combinations. If you prefer
you can opt for the Quick-Pick formula, where the computer will pick
these 4 numbers for you. All players who get 3 correct numbers in the
draw win €2.50, with the balance being split by those who win the other
prize divisions. Those who get all 6 numbers correct win 45% of the
balance.
The time frame for claiming Belgian Lottery prizes has now been
extended in order to allow more time for winners to check their winning
numbers and make arrangements to collect their winnings. It has been
extended from 13 weeks after the draw date to 20 weeks from the draw
date. |
