Australia Saturday Lotto
Overview |
Australia Saturday Lotto is one of the 4 weekly lottos run by NSW
Lotteries. It has a minimum prize of A$4 million every Saturday, and in
addition to the weekly draws there are 6 Superdraws per year, plus a
Megadraw at the end of each year. There is a minimum entry requirement
of 4 games
Australia Saturday Lotto is the most popular of all Australian
lottos. You can play the Saturday lotto in combination with the other
Australian weekly lottos - Monday, Wednesday and Super 66. You select 6
numbers per block and the draw consists of 6 numbers plus 2
supplementary ones. You can pick your numbers manually, or use the
automatic random Slikpik feature. There are 5 prize divisions, with
Division 1 offering the jackpot if you get all 6 winning numbers.
The Superdraws cost the same amount as the normal weekly draws, but
the prize pool is much bigger - up to A$20 million or more. The
once-a-year Megadraw has reached A$32 million.
You can buy Australia Saturday Lotto tickets up to 9 weeks in
advance, and specify the date of the draw that you wish to enter. You
can also enter the lottery as part of a syndicate. Winnings for
Divisions 2-5 are paid out on the day following the draw, while there is
a 2-week authentication period for Division 1 jackpot wins. |
